After reports that Paula Abdul said that having new Idol judge Kara Dioguardi "doesn't work," she's taking it back because, um, it's probably pretty awkward sitting beside her every week after saying it. Entertainment Tonight:
"It is unfortunate that a quote of mine was taken completely out of context today," says Paula. "I was actually referring specifically to the use of 'guest judges' in seasons past, NOT Kara [DioGuardi] or this season. I am thrilled to have her by my side each week on 'American Idol.'"
An Internet report quoted Paula as saying that the use of more than the established judges "slows down the pace of the show."

This is one doodle that can't be undid, homeskillet. But I actually do agree with her - 4 judges is too many. So someone kick Paula off and let's get on with it.
