I'm convinced if a movie came out about a talking vacuum cleaner that travels the world, sucking up foreign objects all the while searching for its long-lost sweeper friend....and Tom Hanks did the voice of the vacuum cleaner, it would win 14 academy awards. The AP reports:
"Angels & Demons" took the box office from "Star Trek" by earning $48 million in its first weekend of release.
The haul was far less than the earlier Dan Brown adaptation "The Da Vinci Code" — which earned $77.1 million when in opened in 2006 — but still enough to topple the popular "Star Trek," according to studio estimates Sunday.

I don't think Tom Hanks has ever made a movie that didn't pull in a billion dollars. This guy isn't even human. He should combine all of his movies and do one big, awesome movie. Like maybe take his retard character from Forest Gump and put him on an island all alone with Meg Ryan and World War 2. Just an idea.
