Britney Spears turned herself in to authorities last night for her August 6th hit and run incident in LA. TMZ reports:
"LAPD told us "at approximately 9:25 PM Miss Britney Spears checked into the Van Nuys County Jail for a court ordered booking. She was put through standard booking procedures which included booking photographs, fingerprinting and collection of information. Britney was at all time cooperative in the process. She was there approximately 45 minutes.""
Specifically, TMZ explains:
"The L.A.City Attorney charged Spears in September with one count of hit and run causing property damage and one count of driving without a valid California license. Both charges are misdemeanors, each carrying a maximum of 6 months in jail. The charges stem from an August 6 incident in L.A. where Spears was in a private parking lot in the San Fernando Valley and rammed into a parked car."
Oh, and these pictures of Britney in a pink wig were taken last night as she attempted to disguise herself while she was at a gas station in Malibu before she turned herself in.
You know, with that pink wig, for some reason reminds me of an Oompa-Loompa (even though they have green hair, my head is just weird like that)... sure, Britney's a bit taller and more hog-like, but just as mishapen and disproportionate. And her dog looks like Toto from The Wizard of Oz. I guess when you're whole life is a circus, it's okay to walk around as if you're living in a fantasy film.
