According to TMZ, the Chicago Bomb and Arson Unit was called to Oprah's studio to investigate whether or not she was about to be blown into little pieces of crazy.
Cops say the Chicago Bomb and Arson Unit is investigating a backpack with wires hanging out of it that was found in a flowerbed outside of Harpo Productions -- where she films her television show -- this morning at around 6 AM.
Oprah's studio has not been evacuated.
UPDATE: Cops say after conducting tests it was determined the backpack was not a bomb. Cops left the scene at 9:20 AM Chicago time without incident.

I can't help but think some poor kid's backpack full of his favorite DragonballZ DVDs and Magic: the Gathering cards are now in the hands of the Chicago police. It's really a sad day for that guy, but at least Oprah can continue giving out Toyotas and gift baskets of nonsense. Yay.
