Nobel Peace Prize for Michael Jackson?

According to sources, if a Web petition signed by 15,000 people has anything to do with it (and it doesn't...at all), Michael Jackson will receive the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize.

Started by an American college student, the petition praises Jackson for his commitment to humanitarian causes and calls on the Norwegian Nobel Institute to name the singer as next year's winner.

"Michael Jackson has undoubtedly earned the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize," said the petition.

But calls for Jackson, who died from a cardiac arrest on June 25, to get next year's prize are bound to fail -- the rules state that Nobel prizes cannot be awarded posthumously.

Secondly, only certain people are eligible to submit nominations, including members of parliament and government worldwide, university professors, previous laureates and members of several international institutes.

Apparently this "American college student" is going to one of the worst universities in the country because he can't even look up the freakin' rules. Someone fail this kid and take his petition away. All those wasted signatures could've gone toward something more useful, like typing celebparasite.com in the address bar. Yeah...
