Judge Approves Michael Jackson Film

Not sure why a judge is approving a film, that's kinda like a plumber filling one of my cavities, but anyway, I guess it was necessary because it had to do with Michael Jackson. According to AP:

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff approved a deal between Michael Jackson's estate, concert promoter AEG Live and Columbia Pictures on Friday and announced his ruling Monday.

A proposed contract states the movie will feature footage of Jackson's final rehearsals for a planned series of London comeback concerts. The film could also include videos prepared for display during the "This is It" shows.

Exploiting death to make a ton of money is always fun. Just ask Mel Gibson, he used the death of Christ to become a bazillionaire. The next time someone famous dies, I'm definitely jumping all over that. Maybe a Billy Banks movie would do well? It could just feature an hour and a half of him screaming at the audience to buy his crap. Hmmm...
