No, not that Kate would die in a fiery crash so he could collect the insurance money, but rather that their horrid reality show is coming to an end in November. NY Post has the story:
"'Jon & Kate Plus 8' is ending in mid-to-late November, as previously reported," a TLC spokeswoman said yesterday.
TLC announced last month that the once-popular show would be renamed "Kate Plus 8" be- ginning Nov. 2 to reflect the acrimonious breakup of Jon and Kate Gosselin.
That date has now been shifted to later in the month.

If there really is a god, Kate Plus 8 will also get canceled, but that's pretty unlikely. So I'm still holding out hope that Jon gets his own show on a competing network. If nothing else, they could just film him rifling through dumpsters for food every day. I'd probably watch it.
