Katharine McPhee Stars in TV Pilot

Katharine McPhee is tired of just looking insanely hot and writing hit records. (I mean, who wouldn't be?) So she is starring in a TV pilot. She has the lead role in NBC's comedy "The Pink House."

According to Reuters:

The project centers on Midwesterners John "Fitz" Fitzgerald and Rob "Bernie" Burnett who move to L.A. and rent a house right on the beach, determined to find jobs they actually love and make the most of their twenties.

McPhee will play Emily, a down-to-earth Midwest girl who lives in an apartment behind the guys' house and finds her healthy figure at odds with the California beach-bunny standard. The male lead roles have not yet been cast.

No one asked me, but Kat McPhee definitely measures up to beach-bunny standards. Anyone who doesn't think so is either retarded, blind or both. Hopefully she doesn't have to put on any weight for the show, because my tender ...heart... couldn't handle that.

Although she is most well known for changing to a blonde, having a gorgeous rack and singing - she is actually a good actress. I was tolerably entertained watching her in the House Bunny. Which I watched in a totally manly way. With cigars. And beer.

With all of this success, I wonder what Katharine McPhee's net worth is up to now?
