Kate Winslet and her husband of seven years, director Sam Mendes, are now officially getting divorced. It's surprising to see that these A-listers, both Oscar winners, are finally tired of each other. They seemed pretty normal, as far as famous couples go, and not the likes of the Brangelinas of Hollywood. They claimed that they lived a fairly normal life, keeping out of the limelight when not completing projects and just taking time to raise their children. Sam and Kate have a six year old son together and Kate has a nine year old daughter from a previous marriage.
Reports are that the divorce was mutual and friendly, without any major public dramas or bloodshed. That's most likely true, since Kate seems to be enjoying herself rather than weeping over the loss of her long-time husband. She was recently seen on a yacht with other men, just hanging out and being British. Do these people do anything without making tea? Before a night of raunchy, orgy sex do they stop and say "Oh bollocks, you stupid bints! Let's have a spot of bloody tea you before I get knackered inside of your knickers!" The answer is yes.
