Paris Hilton got sued for $35 million for not wearing the hair extensions she was endorsing and wearing those of a competitor. Seeing that they don't exactly come with visible labels, I'm failing to see how this is worth that much.
A company that manufactures hair extensions claimed Paris breached her contract to wear and promote their product when she sported the fake locks of a competitor in 2008. (While no one was able to tell. Probably.)
Hairtech International Inc. is seeking $35 million in damages, which is 10 times what she was apparently paid under the contract. The fraud and breach-of-contract suit cites the heiress' partying as contrary to Hairtech's marketing campaign.
The filing claims that Hilton missed a launch party for the hair extension line when she was jail in 2007. Seeing that she only served 23 days in 2007 I have a hard time believing that those days matched up exactly.
The filing states the company's lost $6.6 million on the launch party alone, but it's yet to be seen if Paris is going to have to pay roughly 5x that... Poor Paris. Always getting picked on for her breaches of contract.
