So Sarah Michelle Gellar is topless in the December 2007 issue of Maxim, which is cool... if this were 1998. I mean, sure, she's kind of hot... in a corny-nosed, bag-of-bones kind of way. But the real question is... what is she doing on the cover of maxim these days? Buffy's been done since what, '82?.. Cruel Intentions has already released one or two horrible sequels... and I haven't seen Freddie Prinze Jr. since his 2001 hit, "Summer Catch," starring himself and Jessica Biel. Not that I've ever seen that movie or anything... okay, okay... I'm a sucker for movies about the token poor kids that score the rich girl because they're just that handsome, but a real relationship could never work because her rich daddy won't approve... but then in the end they have this whole heart-warming re-calculation of values and they finally accept the poor kid for "love's sake." Gets me every time.
Okay, sorry for the tangent. But the real point here is... Sarah Michelle Gellar is past her prime. But then again, instead of complaining, I could just enjoy how much this little photoshoot brings me back. Let's not get carried away though... what's next? Are they going to start writing new episodes of Dawson's Creek... you know, Saved By The Bell College Years style? What the hell is this!? What else!? Are people are going to start warning me about the upcoming "Y2K" bug!? You know I can't deal with that whole charade again!
