Jessica Simpson co-hosted "The View" yesterday, and it seemed that she had a bit of trouble connecting with the guests with respect to current issues of the world. The New York Post's Page Six reports:
But, it was a bit of a symbiotic relationship, in which "The View" would have someone a bit more aesthetically appealing on the show than the usual Barbara Walters and Joy Behar in exchange for letting Jessica plug her new "Jessica Simpson" clothing line. Page Six further reports:
Wow, The View must be dying for better ratings these days. I'm surprised Babs even allowed someone as light-hearted and silly as Jessica to even come near her show... she's just got that arrogant, "I'm smarter than the world" attitude.
Imagine Barbara being your grandma... I bet that for the holidays she got all her grandkids ugly sweaters and fruitcakes. And when they go to grandma's house, they know that they can't touch anything. Then they're ordered, single-file, into a dark room with plastic wrapped all over the furniture where they're allowed to have one Fig Newton and a glass of water, nothing more. See, that's why I'm shocked a girl like Jessica was even allowed on the show, nevermind as a co-host! It's that Barbara! Such a nasty old bag!
