Back in March of 2010, Sarah Palin (or one of her team members) posted a controversial target list map on her Facebook page. It's still there. That isn't creepy, it's just kind of lazy on the part of a public figure. The strange part was that the map was covered with crosshairs - including one with Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. Judging by the content of the map "Don't Get Demoralized!" I could say that fanatics could take this a little too seriously.
A Palin staff member defended the map, saying, "We never ever, ever intended it to be gun sights ... It was simply crosshairs like you'd see on maps."
Sure. Because all maps have crosshairs.
