Hulk Hogan's wife divorced him and he didn't even know it. After 24 years of marriage, Linda Marie Bollea has filed for divorce from the Hulk, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea. Unfortunately, for Mr. Hogan, he had to find out about his divorce from a reporter for the St. Petersburg Times newspaper in Florida. Once Hogan heard about the divorce, People Magazine reports that he had the following response:
So Linda and her boobs are gone. That's it. No more bleach-blonde hair and massive mammaries for big Terry anymore. But he's the Hulk, he'll bounce back, won't he? I mean, sure, he's been thrown into the ropes but he'll come back swinging. This is a guy who lives life with honor, and stares any opponent dead in the eye. Hogan doesn't lay down for anyone! He'll move forward, won't he!? He can do this! He'll be back on top, and he'll be pinning down every thing that stands in his way!!! Too far with the wrestling references. Yea, I thought so. I mean, at this point I could pretend that I meant to do it... but you and I both know that I tend to get a little over-zealous at times... and yea, I think this might be one of those times. Sorry, I'm embarassed.
But this is a guy who was so strong, that when I used to fight a big plush doll of him back in '92, I would always end up hurting myself! I mean, if that doesn't say he's a "no-bull" kind of guy with unmatched toughness and dexterity, I don't know what does! So, come on, big Terry, hang in there pal. You taught me strength as a young boy... now, as an old man, use that very strength you used on me when I was a kid! You know it's in you! It's a part of you! It's always in you!!!
By the way... I don't know whose side young Brooke is going to take... but I hope she sides with Daddy solely because that will immediately increase the chances of a mother-daughter nationally televised wrestling match. I can picture it now... Linda Hogan versus her daughter Brooke! Boobs vs. Youth in Nashville, Tennnessee this Sunday! Sunday! Sunday! How brilliant is that?
