Hulk Hogan has finally issued an official statement to the media since the recent divorce with his wife, Linda. People Magazine reports that Hogan said:
Poor Hulk. Don't let your wife take out that fire that lives inside you. There's strength in you, I see it! Back in '92, would you have rolled over and simply asked for respect through these tough times? NO! You would have snapped into a Slim Jim and absolutely laid down the law. Then you would have ripped off your yellow tank-top and started screaming "I am the Lawgiver!!!"
Okay, maybe the whole Slim Jim thing was more Macho Man Randy Savage and not so much you, but you get the idea. You get in there and you set everything straight with this woman who isn't strong enough to tell you about the divorce, but made you find out from a reporter! What was that all about, Hulk!? You gotta get in there and make something happen... prove that you have the dignity that once made you a star! Oh, and it gets worse! Linda's already going after the money! Specifically, People further reports:
9.5 Million! That's a lot of cash-money! Is that what it is!? She wants to steal your money and live a life of luxury based on your achievements!? Oh, no, I'm not going to let this happen! You were a childhood icon of mine! You're wrestling moves and your over-zealous speeches of intimidation dominated the early nineties, and this is how it's going to end? Just like this! No, Hulk, I won't stand for it! That's it, I'm taking my plush-pillow doll of you, along with several action figures with that famous yellow-tank top of yours painted on, equipped with your kung-fu grip, and I'm knocking on Linda's door and I'm getting straight to the bottom of this!
