Ashley Tisdale Gets a Nose Job!

It's official. Ashley Tisdale has joined the likes of Heidi Montag as one of those fake celebrities who has gotten a nose job. Ashley, a star of those Disney "High School Musical" movies exclusively told People magazine the following:

"Growing up I always knew I had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose, which caused trouble breathing," a bandaged Tisdale told PEOPLE on Monday from her Los Angeles home. "The older I got, the worse it got. I went to get it checked out, and the doctor told me the septum was 80 percent deviated and that I had two small fractures on my nose." The recuperating 22-year-old adds: "I'm not feeling great today. It's uncomfortable and I hope this is the only time I ever have to go through something like this.""

Okay, so far I'm semi-convinced that she wasn't down with the whole cosmetic surgery thing. But then she had to go and say this to People Magazine:

I didn't do this because I believe in plastic surgery. I did this to help my health. I literally almost could not breathe out of the right side of my nose," says Tisdale, who's openly discussing the procedure because "I want my fans to know the truth. I'm not someone who is going to act like I had nothing done. I just want to be honest because my fans are everything to me."

Okay, now she would have been better off wearing a sign with flashing neon lights that said "I Love Cosmetic Surgery" because she's trying way too hard to make this seem like it's purely medical. What's next? She's going to go get breast augmentation surgery just to "straighten out her back." You know, I hear big fake boobs really straighten out your scoliosis! Okay, okay, maybe she really does mean all of what she said and she's against plastic surgery... but when a rising Hollywood star says things like that, I'm suspect.
