It's simple: Elisabetta Canalis is entirely too attractive for the average viewer of DWTS (a.k.a., fat housewives) to watch. It's fairly well known that women hate each other and that they hate attractive women even more. That's the only reason I can think of why Elisabetta got booted.
The Italian model/actress Elisabetta Canalis and her partner Val Cherminskiy were the second couple eliminated on the show, despite having the third-highest score that week. The sloppy Chaz Bono had the worst score that week and stayed on the show - obviously because women aren't threatened by him/her and the show's producers love diversity. And sloppy fat guys, apparently.
