Since I have both an X and Y chromosome, I am compelled to care about college football - and something huge just happened. Joe Paterno, the head football coach at Penn State since 1966, has been forced out of his position. The only coach in FBS history with over 400 wins (that's huge, by the way) has been kicked to the curb. WHY? Well this gets even better (actually, much, much worse).
The New York Times is now reporting that the Penn State board of trustees is forcing him out within "weeks or days" due to his involvement with the Jerry Sandusky scandal. Joe Paterno knowingly protected Jerry Sandusky, a child rapist. Joe was an active part of the cover up which allowed Sandusky to prey on even more kids.
His legendary coaching is now going to be overshadowed by "Hey, you let that one guy put his finger in that kid's plop-plop."
