Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

PETA is finally lashing out at Ashley Olsen (shown above right) and her creepy-looking twin, Mary-Kate Olsen (shown above left), for their disregard for PETA's save-the-furry-animals campaign (or something like that) by outwardly attempting to publicly humiliate the two! The New York Post's Page Six reports:

-- THE animal-loving freaks at PETA are training their hate-beams on the Olsen twins, whom they've dubbed "The Trollsen Twins." PETA is furious they've "ignored pleas to stop wearing fur and using it in their fashion collection." The group is unveiling a campaign against the "fur fiends" - Mary-Kate ("Hairy Kate," above) and Ashley ("Trashley") - with a tag line: "Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People.""

See, all of this is funny to me for a couple of reasons. First of all, who knew the PETA people were so vicious!? They are willing to publicly humiliate Michelle Tanner # 1 and # 2 for the sake of the little furry creatures of the world. That's hilarious to me... a pro-social non-profit environmental group openly humiliating childhood stars. The second reason why this is funny to me is that, okay, I understand PETA's beef with Ashley, but personally, I always thought that Mary-Kate looked like some sort of jungle baboon and thus cannot be reprimanded by any organization for being cruel to animals if she is some sort of low-level, jungle-dwelling primate herself. However, I also have always thought that Mary-Kate kind of looked like some sort of decrepit, drugged-out, little forest gnome, in which case I believe she technically can be categorized as some sort of creepy and/or "shifty" human... which clearly would make it okay for PETA to be upset with her treatment of animals.

Anyway, all of this is very complicated in my little brain, but before I go, let's just stop and take a moment to laugh at how ridiculous, yet accurate, PETA's dubbing the two girls "The Trollsen Twins" really is. Ahh, that was nice. A good little laugh. Now, for some tea. (Calling to my butler) Umm, Geoffrey, kind sir... some Earl Grey please. Yes sir... right away sir. Ahh, that's better. Sorry I don't know what that whole last part about the English butler was about. Please forgive me.
