Anderson Cooper Finally Admits That He is Gay.

This isn't much of a surprise to me, because I have been assuming that Anderson Cooper has been gay for years (no straight man can look that dashing with silver hair). So, his email to Andrew Sullivan of the Daily Beast announcing he was gay wasn't too shocking... although I know quite a few women who will go into a severe depression because of this news:

"The fact is, I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn't be any more happy, comfortable with myself, and proud.

I have always been very open and honest about this part of my life with my friends, my family, and my colleagues. In a perfect world, I don't think it's anyone else's business, but I do think there is value in standing up and being counted. I'm not an activist, but I am a human being and I don't give that up by being a journalist.”

You have to admire Anderson for being very level headed about this. There are lots of celebrities who like to flaunt themselves and their beliefs just to get some attention. It's nice to see that Mr. Cooper is just a normal human like the rest of us.
