It doesn't take much to be a judge on American Idol. Usually, you need to be connected with the industry in some way so that you give a valid opinion... but Ellen Degeneres was a judge for a spell, so I think we're now at a few seasons past giving a sh*t. At least Nicki Minaj is a recording artist, no matter how terrible she is.
