Jessica Simpson has begun working on her brand new country album and she says she wants to write some of her own songs for it! Us Magazine reports:
Okay... two things. One: other than those other famous country singers having "stength," they also had a little something else that Jessica might be aware of... which, clearly, is TALENT! Something that Jessica, in my opinion, is quite unfamiliar with. Sure, she's hot, but unless her boobs can sing, I'm going to remain a little skeptical about this whole country album thing. Oh, and number two: Jessica is going to write songs? That's a remarkable claim coming from someone who can't read! Actually, I'm sorry... word has it that she reads at a 3rd grade level!
All right, I admit, that might be a little harsh. But does she really think she can just wake up in the morning and start singing country ballads like a young Faith Hill? Sounds to me like she's got a little too much Texas pride. If I know southerners, and I feel like I do (I've seen a fair share of Walker Texas Ranger Episodes), they're a proud people. So, I guess you can't really blame Jessica... she was just born with that kind of pride. She didn't ask for it. Just like I didn't ask to be this handsome. It's those kinds of things that you just have to come to learn to live with. It's tough, but I think we'll all make it. See! And who said I was pessimist?
